Finally, we’re out front, and I’m feeling numb. I think I’m going into shock. This has been one fucked-up day.
Liam shouts, “Hey, Tristan, can you take Jeremy back for me? I need to get Aaron out of here, he’s starting to freak.”
“Sure, man,” he agrees, seeming slightly put out. “Jeremy, put some hustle in it. I want to get home sometime tonight.”
The car ride is quiet, but thick with tension. I have no idea what I’m in for when we get to his place, since I’ve seen much more than I should have. Plus, he’s probably still mad over the Jeremy thing. I’m going to have to smooth things over when we arrive. We aren’t best buddies, but we had an easiness earlier I want to keep.
Walking into Liam’s condo is shocking. The place is huge. Not knowing what to do with myself, I walk over to the windows to see an expanse of prime Chicago view. It’s breathtaking, and seeing it calms me a little. I hear Liam shuffling behind me, so I decide to accept the consequences.
Turning, I start to nervously pull at my sweater. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to cause trouble with Jeremy. I hope you guys can still work together.”
“Stop right there.” I look up at him to see disbelief written on his face. “How can you possibly think I would blame you for that jackass’s behavior? I know that was all him. Hell, I can barely keep him from humping my leg. One look at you was like waving a red flag in front of a bull.”
“I… I… was afraid you would think I came on to him,” I said, embarrassed to admit it.
He smiles a little at that. “The thought never crossed my mind. Did it cross yours?”
I shudder. “Not in this lifetime.”
For some reason, he finds this hilarious, and starts cackling. I watch, feeling warmth sweep over me because I made him laugh.
Deciding to push forward when he settles, I add, “I wasn’t going to get out of the car, I swear. He had a gun. I’m sorry—”
“For Christ’s sake! That wasn’t your fault either, I know that. I’m not mad at you, so would you stop assuming I am?”
No matter what I say, I keep making things worse. I feel a lump form in my throat, and while trying to swallow it, I look at the floor.
Liam is suddenly right in front of me. I feel his breath on my hair, and reaching down, he puts his fingers under my chin and lifts me to face him. I can’t even fathom the look he’s giving me. We stare at each other for a few moments.
Liam breaks the silence. “Stop worrying so much and go with the flow. As long as you’re not my enemy, you’ve nothing to worry about. Just be yourself this weekend, that’s all I ask.”
I feel lighter. “I can do that, though you may regret it. I’m a big kid when allowed to play.”
I’m smiling like an idiot now, and he reaches up, putting his hand on my face. Slowly, his thumb rubs against my cheek.
He has a small smile on his face as he says, “I like this.”
The feel of his rough skin on my face sets desire loose in me. His gaze turns hungry too, but after a moment, it’s gone.
He steps back and clears his throat. “You’ve got to be starving, I know I am. I, uh, I don’t know how to cook, but I can order a pizza.”
He almost sounds nervous; it’s cute. Yeah, for a guy who nearly killed someone in front of you. He said he was protecting someone, that’s a good thing. Delusional….
The next thing that comes out of my mouth shocks me. “I can cook. You have anything in the kitchen?”
Liam seems pleased at this. “Yeah, I have someone come in and stock the place up.” He shrugs. “Not that it gets used.”
“Do you mind showing me the way?” Damn place is so big. I might have to send up a flare if I go it alone.
“Sure, this way.”
As he leads, I take notice of his ass. I want to reach out and squeeze, and I feel my dick twitch. Averting my eyes from those cheeks doesn’t help much, because he has a strong, wide expanse of shoulders. I start to harden a little. Aaron! Rein it in. I reach down and pinch my thigh to cool it down. Damn, that hurt!
After he shows me the supplies, I decide on quick spaghetti. About forty-five minutes later, the food is done, and we’re seated at the table.
The silence is deafening, so I decide to try to start some conversation. “Soooo? How do you like it?”
Liam pauses, eyes running over me, making heat flush through me down to my toes. Clearing my throat seems to startle him. “Oh, sorry, it’s great. It’s been a while since I’ve had anything home cooked.”
Silence again—great.
I sit there for a minute, watching him through my lashes. Viewing him eat should be illegal. Between the sight of Liam slurping the noodles up and licking the red sauce off his lips, I’m half-hard again.
Do something! “What do you like to do for fun?” Well, that was lame.
“Hmmm, I like to shoot pool, and when I get the chance, I like to read,” he answers casually.
I latch on to that like a drowning man to a life preserver. “Really? What do you read?”
Blushing, he looks down. “Gay erotic romance.”
He sits there, appearing like he wants to crawl into a hole, and I can’t help but smile. “Oh, me too. Chloe always says that’s why I’m such a dreamer.”
His eyes dart up to mine. “There’s nothing wrong with dreaming, Aaron. Dreams are what make life tolerable.”
Hey! I know that line. “Fan of the movie Rudy, are you?”
He smiles, showing his dimples. “Fuck you, man! That movie’s the best.”
Now I’m giggling like a schoolgirl. “Not making fun, I love it too. Although, I would have pegged you more The Godfather type.”
“Oh God, I hate that shit. They try to make it so glamorous.” The light fades from his eyes and a sullen expression takes over where the dimples had been.
Well, shit! Good going, Aaron.
Glancing back up at me, he says, “There’s something I need to talk to you about.” I nod. “I know why you’re really doing this,” he sighs. “I want to say I agree with this Chloe person. Your dad is an asshole for guilting you into this. It wasn’t your fault. He’s made many bad financial decisions.”
How does he know that?
“You listened in on my phone call?” I gasp out.
Now he nods. “I didn’t mean to. I’m not sorry I did, though. At least now I know the real reason you’re here.”
Jumping up, I grab my dishes. “You had no fucking right to listen to that phone call! Our agreement was my body, not my fucking personal life.”
I walk out of the room and take them to the sink, but he follows me with his. “It wasn’t your fault, damn it. Anyone would have had a problem after losing their mom.”
“You don’t know anything!” I brush past him, heading back into the dining room. Being back in there, I don’t know where to go, so I start pacing.
What the fuck are you doing yelling at this man? You’re going to get yourself killed by the end of this weekend. With that thought, my fears start to overwhelm me.
He walks up to me while I’m giving him the deer-in-the-headlights look. “I wanted you to see that it wasn’t your fault, I see it all the fuckin’ time. Your dad is exactly like someone else I know. He was workin’ you to get what he wanted. He probably doesn’t even blame you. It was just handy.”
I start to get emotional. My dad wouldn’t do that to me, would he? What if it wasn’t my fault? Doesn’t matter, you still can’t let him be killed. Even though I know that, my chest hurts a little at the thought of being used by him. The tears that have been threatening since that thought slowly fall down my cheeks.
Liam steps up to me, appearing desperate, and he reaches out, wiping them away. “Shhh, don’t cry. I don’t know what to do with crying.”
Taking a breath, I shudder out, “It’s my fault, it has to be.”
Liam’s mouth abruptly meets mine. The kiss is hesitant, light, and I respond immediately by pushing back toward those amazingly soft lips. He m
oans, and I feel his tongue brush against me, unsure if it will be welcome. I eagerly take him in, opening for his warm tongue as it delves into my mouth. Groaning at the feel of it, I twist mine to meet his.
Liam grasps a fist full of my hair, tilting my head to devour more of my mouth. I grab frantically at his shirt, trying to unbutton it, and grunt in frustration when my fingers won’t go fast enough. He pulls back, yanking my sweater over my head, and panting hard, he jerks his shirt open, making the buttons clatter on the floor.
Finally!
I waste no time in running my hands down his chest. I’m so filled with lust I’m going to burst. Leaning forward, I take one of his nipples in my mouth, and he hisses in pleasure, running his hand through my hair as he holds me there while I nibble and suck.
Letting go, he trails his fingers down my back, grabbing my ass and squeezing. I groan as passion runs through me more strongly, and I start working his fly—I need skin. Getting it open, I moan as I pull his pants down. I kneel, my hand shaking slightly as I take off his shoes and socks. With his slacks around his ankles, he is standing there in all his glory with nothing but briefs on. Groaning, I bend forward to nuzzle his cock through his underwear.
Liam nudges my head with his hand. “Show me what you can do with that pretty mouth of yours.”
Whimpering, I uncover his cock. I’ve wanted to do this from the moment I saw it. I may not have experience in other things, but I am proficient in one. Staring directly in his eyes, I lick up one side and back down the other.
Liam grunts, “Oh fuck, yes. Keep those eyes on mine.”
I quiver at the huskiness of his voice. Slowly, I take him in my mouth, working my tongue over the sensitive bundle of nerves under the head the entire time. He fists my hair and starts moving me at a faster pace.
I pump my hand in tandem with my mouth, able to see his stomach muscles trembling. With a moan, his legs start shaking, and then, pulling me up and off him, he attacks my lips. Undoing the fastenings on my pants promptly, he gets rid of the rest of my clothes.
Stepping out of his pants, he leaves me to get the lube and condom out of his pocket. He hands them to me, and then his arms encircle my waist. Taking my ass into his hands, he lifts me until I wrap my legs around him. While kissing me, he travels over to the table, laying me down with my legs hanging off the side.
His eyes roam over me like a feast spread out for his pleasure. Grabbing the lube out of my hand, he squirts some on two fingers and kisses down my neck and chest as he works them into me. I gasp at the sting. I’m still a little sore from our earlier activities. The feelings his mouth are inspiring, though, are distracting me from it. Before I know it, he has three fingers driving hard into my hole.
“I can’t take it anymore. Fuck me already!”
He slips the condom on, lubes up, and is at my entrance in a heartbeat. “Is this what you want, Aaron? You want this cock, don’t you?”
“Yes, I want it now,” I answer.
Without pause, he pushes steadily into me and moans loudly when he is finally seated inside, resting his forehead against my shoulder. We’re both panting and the feel of his hot breath sends sparks throughout my body.
Breathing heavily, he says, “Please, tell me I can move.”
“Move, please move, oh fuck,” I beg.
As if driven by my words, he quickly begins a steady pace. He pistons in and out, and then, gripping my legs, he spreads and bends them toward me. As he picks up speed, his hips start snapping forward hard, slapping against my cheeks. Groaning at the pleasure, I can feel my orgasm building fast, and I focus on the table rhythmically squeaking, hoping to hold off coming for a little longer.
It works until Liam says, “Look at that greedy little hole eating my cock. I love it. You feel so fuckin’ good. You’re gonna make me come so hard.” He pants. “Come on my fuckin’ cock, now.”
With that, I explode, my back arching off the table. “Yes, yes, Liam! So good…. Unh!”
“Fuck yes…. Argh…. Milk that cock,” he shouts, and comes deep inside me.
Breathing roughly, he collapses on me, and I giggle. “Was that your way of distracting me and dealing with the tears?”
“Maybe—did it work?” Liam chuckles.
Yawning, I tell him, “Abso-fucking-lutely.”
Chapter 5
AFTER OUR sport on the table, Aaron asks if he can use my shower.
While he’s getting cleaned up, I take care of some phone calls, but they help very little in distracting me from thoughts of Aaron dripping wet in the other room.
Already hardening again, I hunger for more of him. It’s an almost uncontrollable urge to be inside him, touching and tasting him, and it scares the shit out of me. I don’t like this pull I feel when he is around. I have an odd need to make him smile. When he was in danger earlier, I was driven mad with the instinct to protect what was mine.
My head knows better than that, though. He isn’t mine. He can’t be. He’s here out of some misguided idea of responsibility. Besides, he can’t be around this world. In one day he was: accosted by a creep, held at gunpoint, and he got to see the monster I am. Not to mention, he gave me his virginity in exchange for his dad not getting a beat down. I need to stop getting mushy. By Monday morning, he’ll be gone, and my life will return to normal. Great—just what I want.
Sighing, I get up from my seat at the table when I hear the water turn off in the shower, and I try to figure out what to do for the rest of the night. It’s only about eight, but I’ve never had to entertain for the weekend—hell, not even for the night. I never stay over anywhere, and I sure as hell don’t bring them here. It surprises me how readily I chose to bring him home, but the thought of having him in bed with me makes me ache.
Pushing those thoughts away, I decide to skim over my movie collection, but nothing pops out at me. Oh, fuckin’ great. This is going to be a long night of staring at each other and awkward silences—I can see it now.
The sound of shuffling causes me to turn around, and what I see before me makes me weak in the knees. There is Aaron, still wet and naked save for an oversized hand towel precariously wrapped around him. His hair is still damp enough to slowly drip water. Seeing one such drip, I watch it run along to his collarbone and then down his sculpted pec. Everything in me is screaming to run my tongue along that path, but barely resisting, I admire his face instead.
Seeming slightly amused, Aaron says, “See something you like?”
While still running my eyes along all that creamy, exposed skin, I huskily reply, “Hell fuckin’ yeah, I do.”
Knowing I can’t be inside him is almost painful, but I need to give him a rest. He was a virgin, after all, and has already been taken twice today. I want him to scream in pleasure, not pain.
In a strained voice, I say, “You’re really pushing my fuckin’ limits right now.”
His smile slips, and while moving to cover himself, he utters, “I’m sorry, I—”
“No, Aaron, I’m sorry. I meant that I’m trying real hard here to not rip that thing off you and fuck you into the floor.” I regret my words immediately, and rush to make him understand what I mean. “You’ve gotta be sore from earlier. My head understands this, but I’m having a hard time explaining it to little Liam.”
I can’t help but smile when I see him relax, bringing down his arm as he takes a confident pose. “Well, I wouldn’t exactly call him ‘little.’”
I chuckle as I reply, “Why, Aaron Quinn, are you flirting with me?”
Glancing down, I see his face heat up. “If I am, will it get me a real towel?”
“I don’t know, I kinda like having you at my mercy. Maybe for the rest of the weekend, you can run around like that, or even better, in nothing at all.” It’s kind of hot that he’s teasing me. At least it won’t be a stiff, uncomfortable weekend.
He shows a little anxiety. “Actually, I was so nervous about how this was going to happen, I forgot to pack anything. I have nothing to put on
but what I came in.”
“I’ll tell you what. Since I’m needing to behave, I’ll get you a pair of my sweats. As much as I would like it, we can’t have you running around naked all weekend. I never know who is going to stop by. I’ll call someone in the morning and have them bring over some clothes for you. Sound good?”
“That’d be great.” Fidgeting with the towel, he clears his throat. “Can I ask you something without you getting mad?”
“I don’t see why not. Depending what it is, though, I may not be able to answer.” He obviously knows the nature of my business, so that should be understandable.
He straightens his shoulders as he stares into my eyes. “Why are you being so nice to me? It’s definitely not what I expected. I don’t know what exactly I did expect, but not this.”
“Aaron, I’m not a complete asshole. I save that for when I have to be. I know you’re here for a purpose, but I’m trying to not focus on that. I’m focusing on a hot guy who I’m trying to get to know a little.” I reach up and scratch the back of my neck. “I mean…. Fuck, I’ve never done this before. I can’t say ‘no,’ for some reason. I’m trying to treat you with respect. You know?”
He hesitantly walks up to me, putting his free hand on my shoulder. “I think I understand where you’re coming from. I want to say that I like how you’re treating me. To be honest, I was very scared to walk into your office. I had no idea what I was in for, and I wasn’t even sure I would come out alive. Now, here you are treating me with respect, almost like we’re on a date or something.” Appearing worried, he stops right there.
“Well, I wouldn’t call it a date, since I usually don’t have to coerce someone into my bed. On the other hand, I like the point of view of two guys who are attracted to each other getting acquainted.” I pause, not sure what else to say.
Why are you even saying these things? He’s not going to be interested past this weekend. You’re in the fuckin’ mob. There is not a chance in hell this beautiful, innocent, and sweet man is going to want anything to do with you.
His demeanor is as confused as I feel. “Liam, I’m not…. I’m not sure I can fit into your world, if that’s even what you’re asking. What happened today scared me stupid. I couldn’t even begin to think how to save myself. I don’t understand anything about the mob or why you’re in it.” Biting his lip, he glances down, mumbling, “You seem like such a sweet guy.”
